Four CCHS seniors; Chris Criqui, Marshall McCollum, Aaron
Stone and Brett Laidacker, will travel to Omaha, Nebraska over Memorial Day
weekend to compete in the Grand National Forensics Championship Tournament.
Approxiamtely 2,800 to 3,000 high school speakers, along with their coaches,
will converge on Omaha for a weekend of serious competition.
Chris and Marshall are competing in Duo Dramatic
Interpretation with a ten minute cutting of THE LITTLE PRINCE, which they
organized. This is Chris and Marshall's second trip to Nationals. Brett and
Aaron will argue "Resolved: That the constitutional right of freedom of
religion has wrongly evolved into freedom from religion."
All four young men will participate in five
preliminary rounds, and then, we hope they advance to octo finals, quarter

successful year. Squad members will demonstrate their talents during
activity period, Wed. May 12, in the high school auditorium.
